Föddes i Newcastle den 16 september 1977.
A former Newcastle United trainee who arrived at Reading on
transfer deadline day in March 1998 for £100,000. A striker
who scored prolifically at reserve and youth level for
Newcastle, which led to selection for the England youth
side. Brayson made his debut for Reading as a substitute
against Ipswich Town in March 1998, and featured regularly
last season but struggled to find the goals.
