Born Bellshill 30.8.65
Tenacious midfielder who joined Reading on a free transfer from
Norwich City in August 1999 after two seasons at Carrow Road.
But it was with Celtic, where he spent fifteen years and made
nearly 400 League appearances, that Grant enjoyed the best
days of the career. Grant was an instrumental figure for
the Parkhead giants as they won numerous cups and
championships, and he was also rewarded with two Scotland
caps in the late eighties.
