Född i Saltburn 13 november 1974.
Right-sided midfielder Graeme Murty arrived from York City for
£700,000 in July 1998. He began his career as a York City
trainee in 1991 and went on to make over 120 appearances for
the Minstermen. He signed professional with York City in March
1993 and made his football league debut in April 1994. Murty's
a skilful, pacey player who played in York City's legendary win
over Manchester United in the Coca Cola Cup and also scored the
winner in a 3-2 victory over Everton. Suffered bad luck with
injury last season and could only play in a handful of games.
