Född i Luton den 12 juli 1973.
Winger-cum-striker who signed from Luton Town on a free transfer in July 1995. Was with Leicester City as a youngster before joining his home town team in 1991, going on to play 40 League games for them. Hit a superb maiden goal against Wolves during a run in the first team at the end of the 1995-96 campaign, and established himself as an important member of the first team squad last season. Martin played some of his best football under former manager Terry Bullivant in 1997/98, and was been involved at the start of the season, scoring more goals than ever before until a knee ligament injury ruined his season in February.
