1997-04-21 R La Plata 9717.1 2110 with a special program about Colombia, its politics, economy, radiostations (even played a short ID of Radio Caracol), peaked 2120-2140 when the signal was fair! Fine ID at 2111 and again at 2126. I think this is a first for me, so extremely pleased to hear it. Has it been off for some months? I seem to have it last reported anywhere late November 1996. 1996-08-03 R. La Plata ? 9717.13 1752-1804 Nothing but tlk by M in SP. Audio kind of bassy. What sounded like at least 2 mentions of "radio" at 1800 including poss. ID. Since I'm not 100% sure it was an ID, call it presumed. fade out after 1804. (Valko 3 August) Cumbre 98

1996-06-16 R La Plata-Sucre 9717.14 1714 talk by a man, with instrumental music. As I listened further, it became apparent this was some sort of traditional/ethnic mx program, with songs from Nicaragua and Peru featured, and of course, the ever-popular huaynos! The show's name appeared to be "Camino al..." but I couldn't make out the last word. Am still listening to them as I type this, at 1753, very good on peaks (S7 or better) with many ID's and address to write station (per WRTH), and studio phone number given. This is the best I have heard this station, at this time, in years!(Sharp, FL-USA, June 16) vy nice, ed. DXWin 17
1996-04-29 R del Plata 9717.12 1641-1701 Sucre; clear and fair, on f/up peaks, w/ nx magazine hosted by two SP M, several TC/IDs, once mentioning "Desde la capital de Bolivia...". Rather rapid f/out, all but gone by 1700. My first definite log of this in about 10 years, I think.(Krueger Apr 29 via NU) Cumbre 85
