I believe the latter, which has been off for quite some time, sold its gear to Luciernaga del Condor, which is a funny name, "Glow-worm of the Condor", perhaps a poetic nickname for a village thrown out on the slopes of the Condor Cordillera. (Zumba) w/many Ecuadorian pasillos in a row, OM later w/anmts about a local event, ID and Ecuadorian national anthem. fr w/lots of QRN, Dec.10. This would be my unid. from Oct.3 and Nov.22. Not heard other days on sporadic checks. I suspect this one is a pirate. I'm excited about this station being on the air as it's the only shortwave station in the remote province of Zamora Chinchipe. In fact, Zumba is right at the bottom of this province, about 10 km from the Peruvian border. The Ecuadorian government listings include a "La Voz de Zamora" from Zamora Chinchipe's main town of Zamora on 3330 kHz but it's one of many on the official list that don't seem to be really there.
