"la capital de la amistad", reaparecio a comienzos de mes. Por un anuncio que capte Feb 1, a la 0155, se pudo establecer que no se trataba de ningun armonico, lo cual habia sospechado el ano pasado, al captar. a mediados de mayo, la senal de esta misma emisora en aprox. 4520 kHz, anunciando los 1430 kHz. Sigue anunciando 1430, amen de la onda corta, e indica su telefono como el 256090. Los estudios estan ubicados en la Calle Primero de Mayo 278, Urbanizacion Urrunaga, Distrito Jose Leonardo Ortiz, Chiclayo, segun rezan los anuncios. Llame a la emisora Feb 2, y me atendieron sendas senoritas, una de ellas gratamente sorprendida por conocer ya a un "tocayo" mio, el sueco Henry Bergstrom, quien, durante un viaje por Chiclayo, hace algun ano, la conocio cuando trabajaba en R Horizonte, una emisora del mismo distrito de Jose Leonardo Ortiz, la que captamos en los 4505 kHz. - Por la manana, a partir de las 1100, y a traves de R Gotas de Oro, se emite "Mananitas ecuatorianas", y por la noche, a partir de la 0100, "Recorriendo el Peru". De acuerdo a informacion recibida, ya se capto en Suecia (por Ove Fransson), en Espana (por Pedro Sedano), y en EE UU (por varios). new station. When hearing this station with a slightly FMing signal for a few days in mid-May 1996, on 4524, varying down to 4520, while the fq ann'cts said 1430 kHz, I believed this was a harmonic. But as it now turns out it is, indeed, a real SW operation. Unheard since May 20, 1996, the station made a surprising come-back on Feb 1. Tuning in to the station from 0120 to past 0200, I noticed a 4-minute tx outage at 0155, but once back on the air, the DJ apologized for the sudden breakdown of the "transmisor de onda corta" (SW tx), which was "fuerza mayor" (an act of God), he said. - At 1200, the same morning, the station was even stronger, actually stronger than most other Peruvians in this area of the band. ID's ann'cts are scarce and casual. "Radio Gotas de Oro, clase A en amplitud modulada" is the only ID I heard over a 1-h listening period. - More info on this one hopefully in next issue of "Dateline Bogota" (Klemetz/Dateline Bogota) |

SS beautiful signal this morning with lots of ID's, ments of Moyobamba and Chiclayo, same reverb on lively M anncr, lots of quick TC's over Andean songs. Fast paced program titled 'Juntos Con El Peru'. Still going strong at 1115 with new program of'?Conyanitas? Ecuatoriana', (pres Ecuadorian mx). Freq drifted constantly, up to 4565 at one point. S-9 pks before 1130 fade out. (Mohrmann Jan 31) This one is drifting. Another drifting Peruvian, R. Soledad, still seems to be on around 4612 (Johnson Feb 4) 0330 SIO-222 SP drifty signal, tk mentioning Andina, Huamalca & Ecuador, beer ad, time check. Listened to in response to question in CDX-123, no distinct ID. 1996 WRTH called out R Latina at this frequency.
