On May 31 noted with ads for ceveza Cusquena and an invitation to a live performance by Grupo Alegría, one of the main Peruvian "chicha" groups. At 2201 a plug for a store in Azangaro, selling "electrodomesticos, lavadores, televisores". No actual ID heard. Playing mx without any talk or ID. The 19th of Aug. 22:26-23:50 UTC 19th August good signal at 22:26, half hour later more QRM on the fq. When I checked the fq at 02:30 UTC nothing was heard. Also noted the 20th of Aug in the evening for several hours (23:35-02:10) Also noted 21st AUG in the mornig (local time) from 11:53 to 14:02 UTC when the station was fading out.23rd Aug.the station was heard from 23:50 - 01:50 with SINPO 22432 Today the 24th the 22:30-00:05 UTC also observed later in the evening." This evening I heard a new station with a test transmission at 22:30-23:50 UTC ID "Radio Interoceanica......departamento de Puno, la region occidental del Peru. Radio Interoceanica.........." - also - "R.Interoceanica...de propiedad....emitiendo su señal en calidad de prueba. Queremos rogar.........". I heard the station later the same evening, even then with pop music. At 02:30 there was just a carrier left. I checked at 0303, still only carrier. (Iversen, 15 Aug) |
