R. Naylan (sic) (FOLLOW UP re Cumbre 99) that was reported is obviously Radio Naylamp broadacasting on 1580kHz from Lambayeque. The official station name is Radio Naylamp, but generally it identifies itself as "Radio Naylam" as nickname of the station. When I visited the station in December 1994, I asked station director about it, and he said that it was commonly called as "Radio Naylam" by announcers. (TIN) |

In a personal letter J.J.Grandez Vargas, Director of Radio Naylamp, informed me that they started broadcasting on this frequency (DAmico in Hard-Core-DX) Following this item, I tried 0030-0100, and at 1100, but not heard here.
