reactivation after several months' absence. Anmts mentioned the station nickname as "Radio La Voz" (omitting "de Huamanga"), which is how the local people refer to it. I don't understand why they moved again to 6201.25, because this frequency may be subject to interference from the more powerful shortwave outlet of Radio Cuzco which was heard same day at 1125 with local newscast on 6203.92. what is actually being heard here is a spur from R Oriente (6188). There is also another spur from the latter on 6227. La Voz de Huamanga was last noted on 6070. (Klemetz WOR via Johnson Jihad) But reported here by another Dxer with id. (TLC via Johnson Jihad) |
