in silence I live
from the break of dawn
till dawn I am smiling
in silent sadness
 

behind that smile       inside your eyes
there's life - a lot

your silence            it tells me lies
but I've seen a slot

your silence tells me    that there's nothing more to say
though I'm not pleased

if you told me by words   I suppose it'd be OK
but do that     at least 



a thin wall of glass,  I've noticed
feels like needles in my heart

you told me some kind of secret
but I can't even share it  with you.
