Peringe Pihlström

 

 

Peringe grew up in a part of Sweden called värmland, and has since the mid '60's been a preacher of the word. Peringe is married to Sigrid, and together they have seven children. He is the author of several books, among others Keys to God's house, Don't let the oil stop, and Building anew.

After 4 years of studies, in 1972 he became a pastor in the Swedish Covenant Church. Since the mid '70's he has been working within the Charismatic renewal. He has a foundation laying pioneer call, and has been involved in a number of church plant situations, the latest being Citykyrkan in Älmhult, Sweden. He was also one of the founders for the institute for church growth in 1983.

Peringe has given a large part of his time to travelling to churches in and outside of Sweden. Between the years 1993-1997 the whole family was living and working in Kirksville, MO. in the church Covenanat Life Fellowship. There he worked, along with Buck Huson, in the extra local work, travelling to a number of churches in the American Midwest.

Peringe is one of the founders of Bridge Builders International.
